The Director of Boarding also works closely with, and keeps fully informed, the Deputy Principal, the Heads of Senior and Middle Schools. The Head of Boarding is supported by the Deputy Head of Boarding, Boarding Mother and a team of Residential Tutors, who live onsite.

This diverse and autonomous position commences ASAP to build upon existing academic and pastoral programs.

The Boarding Village is located on land adjacent to the main campus of John Paul College, and is a bushland setting adjoining sports fields.  This fully refurbished village-style accommodation will house 52 students from years 7-12.  It is unique to the region, being co-educational, boutique and catering for students from diverse backgrounds including domestic, international and indigenous.

There is an expectation that some travel to rural and remote areas will be required to enhance our marketing of the program, as well as an ongoing teaching load on the College campus, determined by skills, vacancies and the operational requirements of the College.

Applicants must have suitable qualifications in residential services, be a registered teacher, and a desire to demonstrate their leadership in ensuring a successful experience for the students and staff of the Boarding Village.
