Vacancy – Secondary Science Laboratory Technician

The Position

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Science Laboratory Technician for Years 7-12 to commence during Week 1 of Term 3, or by negotiation.  The College resumes on Monday 10 July, 2017.  The role is a permanent, term-time, part-time position with total hours up to 24 hours per fortnight.  The days and hours of work will be negotiated to suit the successful applicant and the College.

The Candidate

The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge of a Science Laboratory environment and will provide support to the Science teaching staff and the Head of Learning.

Vacancy – Weekend Duty Chef

 The Position

John Paul College seeks to employ a chef/cook to join our team of Duty Chefs who operate our Boarding Kitchen. This is a casual part –time weekend position of 20 hours, preparing breakfast and lunch and dinner. Penalty rates apply to this role.

The College employs a roster of Duty Chefs who work to provide high-quality and fresh-cooked meals for boarders and boarding staff. Rosters and employment conditions are negotiated with the Director of Boarding upon employment or when necessary to meet operational needs.

Duty Chefs work under the supervision and direction of the Chef Manager, who is the manager of the day to day operational needs of the boarding kitchen.
