Director of Marketing

The Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Marketing. This position will incorporate the traditional and conventional marketing and communications methods to promote the College’s agenda, as well as adopting contemporary social mediums to extend the reach and effectiveness of the College’s marketing activities.

Reporting to the Principal as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Marketing will oversee the College’s communications and marketing strategy and will work closely with Senior staff, to ensure the effective implementation of the College’s campaigns to drive the growth and brand of the College.

The Candidate:

The Director of Marketing will be an experienced communicator and marketer, with proven strengths in management and coordination of large-scale publications, strategic marketing direction, and the development of stakeholder relationships. They will establish a rapport with the community, ensuring that our families and alumni enjoy a strong sense of engagement and belonging.

Applicants must have an understanding of the ethos and expectations that accompany one of Australia’s leading independent schools. Applicants must be prepared to model and maintain the Christian ecumenical ethos, values and beliefs.

Experience and Skills Profile:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of achievement as a senior marketing practitioner, leading a team of marketing and communications professionals. Ideally, from a strategic communications background in independent education, the candidate will possess high levels of emotional intelligence, highly refined influencing skills and strategic marketing acumen.

From time to time, fulfilling these responsibilities may necessitate working additional hours, or attending College and other functions outside work hours.
