Our first priority is always to maintain a safe and caring environment for our students and staff. In order to support this goal, the College Board and Management have worked hard over many years to establish a positive ‘safety culture’ at the College. Supporting this ‘safety culture’ is the responsibility of every member of the College community.
In terms of day to day safety operations, the College employs resident caretakers who work with our security staff to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained at the College night and day.
In addition to the Chaplaincy, Counselling and other services provided by our Wellbeing Centre, the College operates a Health Centre manned by Registered Nurses and also requires all teaching staff to undertake and maintain current First Aide Certification.
The College is also dedicated to maintaining safe facilities and practices through the function of the College Work Health and Safety Office.
