Our Indigenous Education Program encompasses our passion for both education and for the empowerment of indigenous children so that they can become active citizens at the forefront of our ever changing world.
We offer a rich and diverse curriculum that enables indigenous children to become confident, committed members of our community whilst remaining firmly grounded in their cultural roots.
The opportunities presented with a John Paul College education give students the confidence to succeed and the ability to maintain their connections to family, land, heritage and culture.
It is our aim that they share knowledge gained with their own people whilst raising cultural awareness among the non-indigenous members of our community.
Throughout our campus, we have created authentic spaces and symbols which represent the indigenous culture. These include a yarning circle, a bush tucker grove and indigenous gardens.
We individualise scholarships depending on family circumstances, location and Abstudy eligibility. Scholarships include tuition fees, homestay fees, uniforms and books.
