How to Apply for a JPC Scholarship​

Applications for 2027 Scholarships (excluding Academic Excellence) close 8 March 2026


Please read the information below carefully before applying to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and have all required documents ready.

Scholarship Eligibility​​​

To be eligible for a JPC scholarship, all prospective families must consider the following:

  • New domestic students must be commencing/studying in Years 7 to 11, depending on the type of scholarship they are applying for
  • Current students must be commencing in Years 7 to 11
  • The Principal reserves the right to privilege some scholarships over others depending on the College's perceived needs at the time of application
  • The financial needs of the family will be taken into consideration
  • New applicants will follow the JPC Domestic Admissions process as outlined below.
  • Applications for admission into JPC will be undertaken separately from the awarding of a JPC scholarship, with interviews conducted external to the scholarship process
  • Partial remission of fees for students who actively demonstrate the College values and meet the standards set out for each scholarship category will be for the tenure of their study at JPC, until the end of Year 12, subject to annual reviews
  • Applications for 2027 scholarships (excluding Academic Excellence) close at 11.59pm on 8 March 2026.

Application Steps for Students not currently attending John Paul College

Step 1: Read the Scholarship Terms and Conditions here.

Step 2: Complete the John Paul College Online Enrolment Application Form.

Step 3: Complete the Scholarship Application Form, upload the required supporting documentation and indicate which categories you wish to be considered. If applying for the Academic Excellence Scholarship 2027, please also remember to register for the ACER Academic Scholarship Test, which will be held on Saturday 28 February 2026. ACER exam registrations are now closed.

Step 4: If you have not already toured our College, we encourage you to make a booking for a personalised tour for your family.

Step 5: Scholarship candidates will be invited to an enrolment interview, with shortlisted Excellence (Performing Arts) applicants also invited to an audition.

Step 6: Offers will be made to successful candidates by the end of Term 2.

Application Steps for Current John Paul College Students

Step 1: Read the Scholarship Terms and Conditions here.

Step 2: If applying for an Academic Excellence Scholarship for 2027students will need to register for the ACER Academic Scholarship Test, which will be held on Saturday 28 February 2026, and submit an Academic Excellence Scholarship Application Form on the MyJPC portal (current JPC students only). ACER exam registrations are now closed. Please click here to register.

Step 3: Complete an online Current Student Scholarship Application Form  for current JPC students entering Year 7 to Year 11, in 2027.
