Playgroup @ John Paul College

Overhead View Of Babies Lying On Mat At Playgroup

John Paul College has opened a Playgroup to suit babies, toddlers and children up to four years of age.

Run by Early Childhood teachers, children enjoy a range of age appropriate activities and regular guest speakers  join Playgroup to share morning tea and chat about Early Education.

Playgroup provides input into a young child’s development to further prepare them for the very important Kindergarten year. It also provides positive community forum for new families to meet and become a part of a larger group with the interests of their children at heart.

Parental involvement in early childhood is paramount with research showing that the ages 0 – 5 years are the most important time in any child’s life for development. Together through play, children learn. By parents interacting with children and learning appropriate language, children develop listening and speaking skills, thus promoting social, emotional and academic success during the school years.

Playgroup@John Paul College offers two sessions each Thursday morning: 8.30 am – 10.00 am or 10.00 am – 11.30 am in the Primary School area, Chatswood Road, Daisy Hill.
