The Boomerang Building, an architectural gem cherished by the JPC community since its opening on 29 April 1984, is set to undergo a remarkable transformation. Renowned for its distinctive boomerang-shaped design, this iconic structure has a storied past that mirrors the evolution of education at the College. Since its construction, the Boomerang Building’s Secondary School classrooms have served many educational purposes. Initially dedicated to computing, word processing, office practice, secretarial studies, accounting and economics, the building became a hub of student creativity, housing visual art classes. Today, it thrives as a performing arts centre, nurturing the talents of student musicians and performers. The classrooms echo with the melodies of academic music classes, the harmonies of private instrument and vocal lessons, and the dynamic energy of band and ensemble rehearsals.
