    Building the Future: John Paul College Master Plan 2025–2040

    The John Paul College Master Plan 2025–2040 marks an exciting new chapter in our College’s journey, one that reaffirms our commitment to creating world-class learning environments that inspire excellence, foster wellbeing and strengthen community connection.

    More than a blueprint for development, the Master Plan is a living vision shaped by the insights of our staff, students, parents and alumni. It brings our strategic aspirations to life and reflects our mission to accelerate our dynamic learning community, igniting excellence in all.

    Major Developments Underway or Commencing Soon

    • Burragunn Building – currently under construction, this new facility will enhance learning and community spaces
    • Cec Munns Sports Centre Renovation – upgrading facilities to promote physical wellbeing and sporting excellence
    • Bradley Renovation – creation of a central learning common within the building to strengthen the connection between indoor and outdoor environments, complemented by enhanced social spaces surrounding the facility
    • Canteen Expansion – expansion of facilities to enhance catering capacity and deliver improved customer service
    • Performing Arts Centre – a state-of-the-art venue to support creativity and performance.

    Key Future Developments

    • Campus Heart Expansion – revitalising the central hub of the College to strengthen connection, collaboration and student experience
    • Senior Primary Precinct & Year 7 Precinct – purpose-built learning environments tailored to support the needs of Senior Primary and Year 7 students
    • Science and Visual Arts Building 
    • New Administration Facilities
    • Expanded Early Learning Centre
    • Coleman Centre Expansion
    • Learn-to-Swim Facility.

    Master Plan Updates

    During the 2025 Christmas break, a major capital works program will take place. These projects are designed to enhance learning environments, improve accessibility and provide contemporary facilities for our students and staff.

    Key projects include:
    • Renovation of the Bradley Building (Secondary)
    • Refurbishment of Ray Richards Building (Primary)
    • Refurbishment of the Stephen Bean Theatre (Performing Arts)
    • Upgrades to Primary Staff and Visitor Amenities
    • Cec Munns Sports Centre enhancements, including:
      • Clubhouse renovation
      • Car park resurfacing
      • Installation of new entry gates.
    • Canteen expansion to increase service capacity
    • Resurfacing of the Pines and Mayflower courts
    • Painting of Drake and Pines Buildings
    • Construction of new Jukambi Oval stairs.
    ​These projects represent a major investment in the future of John Paul College, reflecting our ongoing commitment to creating an inspiring, connected and future-focused campus for our community.
