Kate Stewart is a commercial lawyer and business leader with extensive experience across the banking, finance, insurance, aviation, defence, technology and government sectors. Her career has included senior executive roles in both the Queensland and Commonwealth Governments, leadership of nationally significant infrastructure projects, and advisory work on complex commercial and regulatory matters.
Kate is a Partner at Acuity Green an Australian law firm providing fractional general counsel, engagement, and commercial leadership to Australian organisations. Her role of Partner sees her providing strategic legal, governance and regulatory advice to Australian organisations. She is recognised for her expertise in technology, privacy, data governance and regulatory strategy.
A dedicated member of the John Paul College community for more than 20 years, Kate’s connection to the College began when her niece commenced Prep. She later chose JPC for her own children, who have thrived throughout their educational journey and are now in year 8 and year 11. As a local Daisy Hill resident, Kate has actively supported the College through volunteering at sporting events, special occasions, and community initiatives.
Beyond her professional career, Kate has contributed to a range of community and not-for-profit organisations including community legal services and has served as Chapter President and Non-Executive Director of the Association of Corporate Counsel Ltd.
She brings extensive expertise in governance, strategy, risk management and leadership, along with a strong commitment to supporting the continued success of John Paul College and its community.
