A John Paul College Medicine and Dentistry Pathway Program
About MedReady Scholars Program
A comprehensive overview of the MedReady and MedPath tracks covering the full four-stage pathway from Year 9 to Year 12, a two-track program model, entry points, costs, scholarship offering and application information.
About MedReady Scholars Program
MedReady is John Paul College’s structured medicine and dentistry pathway program, one of the very few programs of its kind in Queensland. It is designed for students who are serious about a career in medicine, dentistry or health and want a school that takes that ambition as seriously as they do.
The students who succeed in undergraduate medicine and dentistry programs are rarely the ones who started preparing in Year 12. They are the ones who made the right subject choices in Year 9, deliberately built their academic profile and arrived at their UCAT and interview with years of structured preparation behind them.
MedReady provides that structure within the relationships, support and academic culture of John Paul College, beginning as early as Year 9 and culminating in a fully supported, well-prepared Year 12 university application.

MedReady is a four-stage sequential pathway. Both the
MedReady medicine track and the
MedPath health careers track share Stages 1 and 2. Track divergence occurs at Stage 3 (Year 11), based on academic performance, aspiration clarity and a structured conversation with the Head of Careers.
