Secondary Camps

Camps are an integral part of the JPC Academic Welfare programs with the aim to build independence, self-confidence, strong relationships and life skills, in a supportive and encouraging off-site environment.

Our camps provide students with a variety of outdoor education experiences, striving to encourage the development of students through experiential education and develop important life skills of:

  • Decision making

  • Problem-solving

  • Communication

  • Relationship development.

Outdoor education, tours and camps incorporate a sequenced and progressively challenging program designed to further develop a student's social and emotional abilities during their years as a member of the JPC community. The program is aligned with the aims of the College in the areas of pastoral care and personal development.

Camp Program

We have a proud history of extending our students' learning opportunities through the provision of a wide variety of camps that are held throughout South East Queensland.
