John Paul College is delighted to announce that several of our Visual Arts students have had their work selected for display in the upcoming Artwaves 2025 exhibition. This highly regarded showcase will run from 13 September to 1 November at the Logan Art Gallery, featuring standout pieces from students across 31 secondary schools in the Logan and Southern Brisbane areas.
Each artwork was handpicked by our dedicated Visual Arts educators and then reviewed by a panel of judges, ensuring that only the most compelling and creative pieces made it into the final exhibition. We're incredibly proud to see our students' talent recognised on such a prominent platform.
The exhibition's official opening night on Friday, 12 September, promises to be a vibrant celebration, complete with guest speakers and live entertainment by our JPC musicians. Artwaves continues to be a powerful reflection of the imagination and innovation flourishing within Secondary Schools in our region.
We warmly invite you to visit the Logan Art Gallery and experience the remarkable creativity of our students firsthand. The exhibition runs until Saturday, 1 November, and visitors are encouraged to support their favourite pieces by voting in the People's Choice Awards. Simply fill out a paper ballot at the gallery to cast your vote.
