During the Christmas holidays, the College will upgrade the Chatswood Road, Markwell and Finch Car Parks to prepare for the start of Term 1, 2025.

The Chatswood Road Car Park Entry 3 (first entry on Chatswood Road) and Entry 5 (entry from Mayflower Street) will be closed during the Christmas break from Monday 25 November until Term 1 2025.

We encourage all families to access the Chatswood Road Car Park through Entry 4 (second entry on Chatswood Road). Access to the pathways in front of the Kindergarten will not be impacted.

The car park works for the Chatswood Road Car Park will include:
  • New Pick-up and Drop-off Zone: To improve traffic flow, a dedicated drop-off and pick-up zone will be located in front of the Retail Centre and Kindergarten.
  • Aisle 2 Conversion: Aisle 2 will be changed to a two-way traffic flow, improving accessibility and ease of movement.
  • New Entry and Exit at Entry 3: To further streamline traffic, a new entry and exit point will be added at Entry 3 from Chatswood Road.
  • Entry 5 Upgrade: Entry 5 from Mayflower Street will be converted to a two-way traffic flow to accommodate incoming and outgoing vehicles better.
  • Staff Car Parking: Designated parking spaces will be allocated to staff in the area closest to the Mayflower Car Park entry.  This will ensure prime parking is available to parents during drop-off and pick-up times and promote more efficient traffic movement.
  • Additional Accessible Parking: New accessible car parking spaces will be created in front of the Early Learning Centre for easier access.
  • Shuttle Bus Parking: A designated area for shuttle buses to enhance transportation options for the Cec Munns Sports Centre Car Park.

Markwell Car Park Upgrade will include:
  • A new all-weather structure with seating adjacent to the Drop-off and Pick-up zone will be created for added convenience and shelter.
  • Road markings will be updated during the break to align with these changes and enhance traffic flow.

We would like to ensure that all families use pedestrian crossings and follow the speed limit during this time to ensure the safety of all our community members.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this upgrade.
