
John Paul College is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Kerryn Campbell BCom CA GAICD GIA(Cert) as Director of Business Operations, commencing 12 January 2026.
Mrs Campbell brings more than three decades of experience as a Chartered Accountant, including 17 years of strategic leadership within the independent school sector. Most recently, she served for 13 years as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary at Cannon Hill Anglican College, where she demonstrated outstanding capability in financial stewardship, corporate governance and capital development across complex educational environments. Her expertise encompasses master planning, enterprise risk management, ICT strategy, and stakeholder engagement, capabilities that will play a vital role in advancing JPC's mission and future direction.
Mrs Campbell's track record in strategic financial leadership positions her ideally to guide the College through its ambitious renewed Master Plan and continued growth trajectory. She has successfully managed capital projects ranging from $1 million to $35 million, led schools through periods of government funding challenges while maintaining financial sustainability and implemented innovative technology strategies that enhance both educational delivery and business operations. Her experience in developing workforce strategies, managing enterprise agreements and leading high-performing teams aligns seamlessly with the College's commitment to being an employer of choice. As a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Governance Institute of Australia, she brings the governance expertise essential for her dual role supporting both the Principal and the College Board.
Beyond her technical expertise, Mrs Campbell is known for leading with courage and compassion, bringing emotional intelligence and a genuine commitment to service to every role she holds. Currently serving as a director on three independent school boards, she demonstrates her ongoing dedication to advancing educational excellence across Queensland. Her recent consulting work with The Southport School and The Springfield Anglican College, along with her volunteer commitments, including supporting women's cancer charities and environmental regeneration projects, reflects values that resonate deeply with the College's values of Mutual Respect, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence.
Mrs Campbell's blend of strategic acumen, operational excellence and values-driven leadership makes her an outstanding addition to JPC's Executive team. Her proven ability to translate complex financial and governance matters into clear, actionable strategies will be invaluable as we continue implementing our strategic vision and master plan.
