On Friday 30 April, John Paul College (JPC) was awarded Performing Arts School of the Year by the Australian Performing Arts Teachers Association (APATA), an Australian uniting body for teachers, educators and industry practitioners working and creating in the performing arts.

JPC's premier performing arts program has been recognised by APATA for its outstanding and extensive performing arts offering across its academic Faculty of the Arts, co-curricular programs and high performance academy, aimed at nurturing and excelling elite performers in their field.

At JPC our purpose To Educate, To Inspire, and To Make a Difference is demonstrated through a variety of extended academic and co-curricular programs which push the status quo when it comes to learning and performance. The JPC environment is collaborative between disciplines and is showed in our termly Performance Evenings, bi-annual Musicals and Speech Night events.
