Student Success on the Track and Field

Congratulations to the following students who medalled in the recent Queensland Athletic State Championships and Coles Queensland Little Athletics Championships in their respective age groups. What an outstanding achievement!

128^th Queensland Athletics State Championships

• Ashton HK (Year 12) - Gold in High Jump
• Jordan M (Year 10) - Silver in High Jump
• Bella W (Year 8) - Gold in Pole Vault, Silver in Hammer Throw, 9th in the 1500m
• Lachlan F (Year 8) - Gold and new PB in the 800m, Silver in 400m and 1500m

All four athletes have now qualified for the Australian Athletics Championships in Perth in April.

Coles Queensland Little Athletics Championships

• Ashton HK (Year 12) – 2^nd High Jump
• Jordan M (Year 10) – 2^nd High Jump

• Bella W (Year 8) – 1^st 1500 race walk, 6^th Discus and 12^th 1500m
• Lachlan F (Year 8) – 1^st 1500m, 2^nd 800m and 5^th 400m
• Lila C (Year 5) - Gold in 70m, 100m, 200m and 400m

Jordan, Bella and Lachlan will now compete at the Australian Little Athletics Championships on 21 – 23 April in Adelaide.
