​​JPC students join the stage with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra

John Paul College was privileged to be one of four selected schools across Brisbane, to sing and perform alongside the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and Brandenburg Choir under renowned Artistic Director and Conductor, Mr Paul Dyer AO for Handel’s Anthems & Fireworks joint concert on Tuesday 30 July at QPAC.

John Paul College’s premier ensemble, Concert Choir consisting of sixty choristers, were extended an invitation to collaborate with one of the finest Baroque Orchestras and Choirs in the world alongside elite Brisbane schools such as: Brisbane Girls Grammar, Brisbane Grammar School and Brisbane State High. Performing in front of a sold-out crowd, JPC students performed to the finest including; Dame Quetin Bryce AD CVO.



At John Paul College our purpose is To Educate, To Inspire, and To Make a Difference through a variety of extended co-curricular programs which push the status quo when it comes to learning. The privilege of performing at QPAC alongside the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and Brandenburg Choir, allowed for the sixty selected students to rub shoulders with the best in the industry, and broaden their horizons to the opportunities they can aspire to in the future.
