Celebrating Student Creativity at Artwaves 2024

John Paul College is proud to share with the community that artworks by our talented Visual Arts students have been selected as winning entries in this year's Artwaves 2024 exhibition. Held at the Logan Art Gallery from 13 September to 19 October, Artwaves showcases exceptional student creations from over 30 Secondary Schools across the Logan and Southern Brisbane regions.

Each piece was carefully selected by Visual Arts teachers and then vetted by a judging panel, ensuring only the finest work is displayed. We are thrilled to have our students represent JPC at this prestigious event.

The exhibition's opening night on Friday, 4 October, will feature guest speakers, entertainment and catering provided by participating schools, including John Paul College. This annual exhibition is a testament to the incredible creativity and imagination thriving in our community.

Don't miss the chance to see the incredible artworks by our Visual Arts students at ARTWAVES 2024! This exhibition showcases the wealth of imagination and creativity in our region. The artworks will be on display at the Logan Art Gallery until Saturday 19 October. Come along and support our students by voting in the People's Choice Awards. You can cast your vote by filling out a paper slip at the gallery and placing it in the ballot box.
