Making a Difference - Strudwick Family Donation
The College would like to thank the Strudwick family for their generous $50,000 donation toward the Jukambi Courts Precinct. Without the support and generosity of our families, projects like these would not be possible. Thank you very much Strudwick family for all you do for the College.
Keisha and I are so proud to be able to donate to the College to contribute to the funding of the courts precinct on the Jukambi oval.
As alumni of the College (2006), we understood as students that the College's facilities were a key attribute that enhanced the learning experience. The facilities set JPC apart from other schools, enriching our education experience and making us proud of the environment in which we learnt. We were beneficiaries of key infrastructure projects like the Gorman Centre and Coleman Centre as students - projects that families like us donated to. Our children now benefit from the pool project, which we fundraised as students back in 2005/2006.
Keisha and I watched our parents sacrifice so much financially to be able to send our siblings and us to JPC, and we feel it is our turn to give just like they did decades ago. As alumni and now as parents, it's our turn to help write the next chapter of the College's story.
Finally, Keisha and I have been very grateful to the parents and staff supporting our real estate business at Elders Shailer Park. Most of our sellers, buyers, tenants and investors have been families of the College. This donation is a way of thanking those families who have supported us and those who will support us in the future.
