    Sport

Sport achievement at JPC is a mixture of passion, participation, science and exceptional support.

With one of Australia’s most extensive sporting programs, students of all abilities have the chance to excel. We understand that reaching peak performance depends on many factors – talent, training, persistence, confidence and above all, opportunity.

At JPC all students have access to our sporting co-ordinators and coaches, from beginners discovering new skills to elite athletes receiving high-level coaching in preparation for competition.

    High Performance Academy (HPA)

The High Performance Academy (HPA) aims to nurture the growth of elite athletes through a holistic and individualised approach to athletic development. We value and support each athlete's goals and aspirations for competing at the highest level in their chosen discipline.

The program is based on functional movement, technical development, personal development, strength conditioning development and sports medicine support. Our focus is to develop athletes capable of executing exercises and training routines of increased complexity as their training age/level increases. Further to this, athletes in the program receive priority access to specialist training facilities, equipment and mentoring from current and former elite athletes including high-profile College Alumni.

    High Performance Academy (HPA)

The High Performance Co-ordinator closely monitors each student’s workload and wellbeing. Student-athletes are held to high expectations in academics, behaviour, attendance and effort to retain their position in the program.
